Depp’s publicist confirmed the ]news to Celebuzz that the two “have amicably separated.”  The publicist goes on to say, “Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children.”

The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 49, and Paradis have been partnered since 1998, but never made it down the aisle; they have two children together: Lily-Rose, 13, and John, 10.


Depp met the 39-year-old French singer/actress while he was filming The Ninth Gate. He’s had a long list of Hollywood loves, including Sherilyn Feen, Winona Ryder and Kate Moss, but has only married once – to Lori Anne Allison in 1983.
