L’attrice rivela che il suo personaggio nasconde un mistero e che «Il film di Tim Burton è un mix tra Il Mistero di Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd e Beetlejuice»
Ieri, le primissime foto del vampiro Johnny Depp sul set di Dark Shadows hanno fatto il giro del mondo, conquistando la curiosità dei fan del divo e del suo regista-mentore Tim Burton. Oggi, le dichiarazioni di una delle protagoniste del film, Chloe Moretz, accenderanno ancora di più l’interesse…
In un’intervista rilasciata al sito Hala Movie, Chloe Moretz (in una foto di Blood Story, remake di Lasciami entrare) racconta le sue prime impressioni sul film, che definisce «un mix tra Sweeney Todd, Beetlejuice e Il Mistero di Sleepy Hollow, con personaggi come il Cavaliere senza testa, che oscillano tra comico e terrificante». E svela importanti dettagli del suo personaggio, che nasconde un oscuro segreto. L’attrice sarà Carolyn Stoddard, un personaggio che – dato il cognome – sarà imparentato con una delle più anziane discendenti della famiglia del vampiro interpretato da Depp, Barnabas Collins, ovvero Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, che avrà il volto di Michelle Pfeiffer. Nonostante il film sia ispirato alla gothic soap Dark Shadows degli anni Sessanta e al serial remake del 1991 L’ombra della notte, Carolyn Stoddard riserverà al pubblico sorprese del tutto inedite, assicura Chloe Moretz: «è un personaggio divertente. E’ una teenager un po’ pazza, che ascolta Alice Cooper (famoso per le sue performance macabre, che includono trucco dark, bambole impalate e ghiogliottine, ndr) e nasconde un oscuro segreto». Un dettaglio, sottolinea, completamente nuovo, mai visto nei serial…Dark Shadows uscirà negli Usa per l’11 maggio 2012.

Right, to clear this up.. went today, security were lovely, allowed us to watch no problems. Johnny Depp isn’t filming tonight; I trust his word as he said where Johnny would be filming (tomorrow, not in Beckenham), and did tell us who is filming (Eva Green & Helena Bonham Carter).
They’re filming tonight until 2-3am (from 10am), with a scene involving someone jumping from a top floor window.
Saw Tim Burton and Eva Green whilst there, they were rehearsing for tonight. Security said shouldn’t be a problem to watch, but people on gates might say you can;t get in, but it’s possible to enter the park without passing security (I did).
